Common Goal Lacrosse Refund and Cancellation Policies
Due to the nature and expense of our preplanned team activities (i.e. events, tournaments) CGL has a policy of no refunds.
Remarkable Circumstances Policy
CGL offers placement in a competitive lacrosse atmosphere and as such we cannot offer refunds unless remarkable circumstances are shown. Such a circumstance is an injury to a player that will require that player to miss greater than 50% of the season in which he / she is registered. In such circumstances, a refund request will be reviewed and appropriately determined by the Board of Directors. Such cases should be communicated to the board within a reasonable time of injury so we can also act appropriately for both the needs of the injured player and the team.
Inclement Weather Policy
In the event of inclement weather, either indoors or outdoors, CGL will exhaust every effort to continue that particular session at the complete discretion of the coaches and the club board. If extreme weather occurs, such as lightening, extreme heat, hail, etc., CGL may be forced to cancel the session in order to protect player participants and staff. If an event is canceled for any reason, notice will be provided in at least one of three manners: 1.) sent via e-mail and/or text by the team reps or webmaster, 2.) posted on our Facebook page, and/or Twitter page 3.) communicated directly via word of mouth to parents and players if the activity is in progress.
We encourage parents to use common sense and make arrangements for the pick-up of their children, if the weather suddenly turns or if lightning, tornado or severe weather warnings are issued. There will be no partial refunds or full refunds due to unforeseeable weather circumstances. This applies to practices, tournaments, league games and the like.
Canceled Program Policy
CGL must reserve the right to cancel an event for any reason. If there is low enrollment or a facility change and we are forced to cancel the event, you will be refunded all monies paid. This may apply to clinics, tryouts, etc.
